A 44-year-old man from Oromocto, N.B., has been charged with possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material. Eric Edouard Gregoire appeared in Fredericton provincial court on Wednesday, where he was also charged with making available child sexual abuse and exploitation material. The investigation began in August 2025 as part of a proactive measure from the RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit. Police executed a search warrant at an Oromocto residence as part of the investigation on Jan. 21, 2026, where they arrested Gregoire and seized several electronic devices.
