An elderly man is facing charges after police say he may be connected to repeated incidents of harassment involving several young girls. York Regional Police (YRP) say between Aug. 10 and Sept. 1, the man approached various groups of young girls in Keswick, Ont. Police claim he made “inappropriate verbal comments” to the girls, which included sexual remarks about their appearance. YRP say in one incident, the man followed a group of girls to their home and remained outside for a period of time. Police have charged 80-year-old Georgina man with six counts of criminal harassment. YRP say the accused was seen driving a white Lincoln SUV. Investigators say there may be additional victims out there and incidents of harassment that have gone unreported. York Regional Police are urging anyone who has experienced a similar incident or anyone with information to reach out to them or Crime Stoppers.
