Police say two men are facing charges after shots were fired at a home in Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County during two separate incidents. The RCMP responded to a report that several shots had been fired into a home on Highway 208 in Nineveh around 11:50 p.m. Sunday. No one was injured. Police say they identified a vehicle associated with the incident. Officers then pulled vehicle over on the way to the scene. Police say they arrested two men in the vehicle and seized a rifle. Orland James Barrett of Hubley has been charged with: Police say the 68-year-old was also involved in a similar shooting at the same home on June 28. He’s facing the following charges related to that incident: Barrett was released on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater provincial court on Aug. 19. Police say the other man will face similar firearms-related charges in connection with the July 12 incident. The 57-year-old from Halifax was also released on conditions and is due in court on Sept. 9. Police say their investigation ongoing.
