The Barrie Colts were close, but not close enough on Saturday night giving up three goals in the final 90 seconds of the 3rd period as the Oshawa Generals walked away with a 4-2 victory. Colts captain Evan Passmore opened the scoring for the Colts with newly acquired forward Michael Tang also scoring his first of the season in the loss. A scramble in front of Colts goaltender Hagan Bach at 18:28 of the 3rd period saw Generals forward Harrison Franssen tip the puck in the net. 29 seconds later Leo Laschon shot from the point beat Bach, with Linus Funck adding an empty netter 21 seconds later. Bach made 41 saves in the game. The Colts have a few days to regroup before the Niagara IceDogs come to town on Thursday night. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. at Sadlon Arena
