Suspect wanted in hit-and-run involving a cyclist

A suspect is wanted by the Owen Sound police in connection with a hit-and-run involving a cyclist.

On Saturday around 7 a.m., police were called to the incident at the intersection of 10th Street East and 1st Avenue East.

Officers believe the car is a dark-coloured Cadillac sedan with damage to the front, passenger-side corner. That includes a broken headlight, and it is believed to be missing the passenger side mirror.

After the crash, the OSPS said the vehicle did not try to stop and drove westbound on 10th Street West.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
