A Canadian comedian sensation is bringing the laughs and a popular Canadian rock band will bring the riffs to Casino Rama next year. The resort announced their first acts for 2027 and both happen to be Canadian. Russell Peters Named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Comics of All Time, Russell Peters is coming for a double show in February. The award-winning, stand-up comedian is known for using humour to bring up sensitive topics like race, class and cultural stereotypes. In 1989, Peters started performing at open mics in Toronto and built up from there. He gained international recognition for his CTV Comedy Now special and went on to become the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre in 2007. He was also the first comedian to create a Netflix Original Comedy Special, something many comedians have followed in his path. Peters has won numerous awards for his hosting, producing and acting talents, including Emmy, Peabody, Gemini and Canadian Screen Awards. The shows are slated for Feb. 19 and 20. Tickets range in price from $85 to $145. Theory of a Deadman Canadian rock band Theory of a Deadman is bringing their Northern Chaos Tour with special guest Mammoth to Rama. Theory of a Deadman has had several multi-platinum hits, albums and sold-out shows around the world. Most known for their songwriting and melodic choruses, their hits span decades including “Santa Monica,” “All or Nothing,” “Hate My Life” and “Not Meant to Be.” Mammoth is an American rock band featuring Wolfgang Van Halen. The show is on March 12 at 9 p.m. Tickets Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. Casino Rama Resort Social Fans and My Club Rewards members can purchase tickets on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. All guests to the shows at Casino Rama must be 19 years of age or older.
