Provincial police say one person is dead and another is in hospital after an Tuesday morning collision in Springwater. The collision happened sometime before 7 a.m. and shut down Highway 26 between Rainbow Valley Road and Culham Road. According to a social media post from OPP, the collision was between a passenger vehicle and a truck. Residents are asked to take alternate routes as police warn a lengthy closure may be necessary. An investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
