Police are investigating a robbery in downtown Kitchener and are asking for the public’s help identifying a person believed to have information about the incident. Waterloo Regional Police said officers were conducting proactive patrols near King Street East and Cedar Street North at about 9:30 p.m. Monday when they found an adult man suffering from a facial injury. Police determined a robbery had occurred in the area. The victim was struck with a piece of wood and suffered a laceration that required medical treatment. Police are seeking to identify and speak with the person pictured in connection with the investigation. Anyone who recognizes the person pictured or has information about the robbery is asked to call police at 519-570-9777.
