Smashed glass, spray painted walls and several classrooms suffered damage under the hands of the people who attacked the secondary school over the Labour Day weekend. A construction worker arriving on-site to begin renovations was dismayed to find the school damaged when he arrived at Innisdale Secondary School Monday. Police say several areas around the school were spraypainted, including entrance doors, windows, and portions of the building and sidewalk. Police believe a small school chair was used to smash a glass divider at another doorway. Another door had been forced open, and police say multiple rooms were vandalized. Police have security camera video and are hoping to identify those responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead investigator at Barrie Police Service.
