Aritzia Inc.’s second-quarter earnings roughly tripled from last year as the company expanded further outside Canada. The Vancouver-based retailer says its net income for the period ended Aug. 30 increased by 204 per cent from last year to $201.7 million. That amounted to $1.70 per diluted share compared with 56 cents a year before. Over the same period, its net revenue increased 44 per cent to $1.17 billion. Almost $780 million of that revenue was derived in the U.S., where the company has been opening more stores. The strength of the quarter has encouraged Aritzia to boost its guidance. It now expects to close out the year with between $4.78 billion and $4.88 billion, which would be an increase of up to 32 per cent from last year. --- Tara Deschamps, The Canadian Press This report by The Canadian Press was first published Oct. 8, 2026.
