Hope you all are having a spook-tacular Halloween! Not too much for trick-or-treaters to complain about this year, with cloudy conditions and some fairly strong winds out of the southwest and a seasonal high of 6 C on Friday that will hold on until the early morning hours into Saturday. While Calgary and areas to the east are not expecting much precipitation, it’s a different story for the higher elevations like Banff and Lake Louise, which should get a good dump of snow over the next 24 hours. We will continue to have fairly breezy conditions throughout Saturday morning out of the southwest at 20-40 km/h, which will help get us to a high of 14 C by the afternoon. Sunday could be even windier for Calgary, with gusts reaching 50 km/h, but lots of sunshine will be on tap with a high of 9. As we get back into the workweek, conditions are pretty steady with a mix of sun and cloud and perhaps the chance of some evening flurries with temperatures hovering around seasonal. Have a happy Halloween!
