Hot, humid and smoky will be the story for Calgary on Tuesday. Tuesday will have a high of 26 C, but when you factor in the humidity, it will actually feel closer to 29. Wind from the north will start blowing some wildfire smoke into the city. At times over these next few days we will move up to the moderate level on the scale of the Air Quality Health Index. Our friends in central Alberta have been at high or very high Monday, which is the poorest air quality. We had a couple days of reasonable — or normal — heat, but we are now headed into a long-term hot and dry stretch. Daytime highs will be in the high 20s to low 30s for the next 10 days.
