There will be mixed weather for the first day of Stampede, Calgary. Friday will start out well. If you’re headed to Stampede parade in the morning, you can expect partly cloudy skies and a temperature of 16 C. Those clouds should clear out fast and give way to lots of sunshine, but around 2 p.m., the afternoon brings another chance of isolated showers and the risk of thunderstorms again. Saturday will be stable, but the chance of showers and thunderstorms returns on Sunday afternoon. The heat will build in early next week, with a high in the mid-twenties for Monday, then a high around 30C on Tuesday.
