There will be rain for another day in Calgary. On and off rain will carry into Friday morning in the city before fizzling into isolated sprinkles in the early afternoon. It will be cool with a high of 13 C and a chilly wind out of the north, gusting up to 40 km/h. A ridge of high pressure is set to build in Saturday through Monday. That means the temperature will climb into the 20s by Sunday, and there will be a good amount of sunshine and stability. Enjoy these three days, because much of next week looks unstable again — especially by late Tuesday. Dianne Bach took this super cool photo of a storm near Champion, which pretty much sums up our Thursday.
