The provincial government says it will be announcing a new affordability measure for Albertans in Calgary on Wednesday.

Premier Danielle Smith will make the announcement at Heritage Park along with Finance Minister Jason Nixon, Affordability and Utilities Minister RJ Sigurdson and Trellis Society CEO Jeff Dyer.

No details about the plan are available, but officials say it will “help Albertans and families manage the high cost of living.”
