Medicine Hat police say one man has been arrested in connection with an April 29 shooting that left another man seriously injured. Police say Robert Bourassa was arrested by Calgary police. During the arrest, he allegedly attempted to flee but was apprehended after a police service dog was deployed. He remains in custody. Investigators say a second suspect, Levi Chudyk, remains at large and efforts are underway to locate and arrest him. Police are asking anyone with information about Chudyk’s whereabouts to contact them at 403-529-8481. They are warning the public not to approach him, and to instead contact police if he is seen.
