We will climb another few degrees in Calgary on Thursday as the temperature hits 29 C, but it will feel even hotter than that with the humidity. Expect it to feel more like 34. There will likely be some fog patches early in the morning, but other than that, there should be lots of sunshine and only a very small chance of showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon. Friday comes with a higher risk of thunderstorms in Calgary and for much of southern Alberta. And some of the storms could become more severe with larger-sized hail, bigger downpours, and damaging wind gusts. Tornado development wouldn’t be out of the question either.
