Clue: Live on Stage! actor TJ Lamando and his castmates have plenty of downtime between shows, but they don’t spend it playing Clue. “No, we can’t surround ourselves with Clue all the time,” Lamando said with a laugh. “We just love to explore the cities we’re in. I’m enjoying Edmonton right now, and I’m excited to be in Calgary next week—go to museums, try out the local food.” The New York-based Lamando plays Mr. Green in Clue, which opens at the Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary on Tuesday, July 21. “Mr. Green is a very anxious character. He is a rule follower, and he’s easily startled by loud noises. So, to put him in the middle of a murder mystery surrounded by lightning going off and jump scares is a recipe for disaster,” Lamando told CTV News. While Lamando is currently part of the Broadway Across Canada production, he also has experience in TV, including a small role on Succession opposite Emmy winner Brian Cox. “It’s funny, you know, because he would be like ‘Oh, the lines, the lines!’ It’s nice to know that somebody like Brian Cox still struggles with the lines like I do,” said Lamando.
