Waterloo Regional Police are asking for the public’s help with a sexual assault investigation in Waterloo. On Wednesday, they released two photos of a man they want to identify in connection to the incident. A woman told officers she was sexually assaulted by multiple people at a home near Albert Street and University Avenue West on June 27. A 23-year-old man from Wellesley Township and a 31-year-old man from Waterloo were arrested. Both were charged with sexual assault and sexual assault causing bodily harm. Police did not say why they wanted to speak to the man in the photos, only that their investigation is ongoing.
