A house fire in Kitchener caused significant structural damage and displaced the occupants of a detached home Sunday morning. Kitchener Fire crews were called to a reported structure fire at a home on Village Road at about 8 a.m. Crews arrived to find the fire had extended into the attic space and quickly brought it under control. Damage to the residence is estimated at between $500,000 and $750,000. No injuries were reported. Fire officials said the fire is not considered suspicious.
