Businesses in Cambridge, Ont. and Kitchener, Ont. have been recognized by the Michelin Guide. The Michelin Guide is published by French tire company Michelin. Although it originally served as a travel guide for drivers, it has since evolved into a list containing some of the world’s best restaurants. It published its first North American Guide in 2005, and launched the Toronto and region version in 2022. Langdon Hall Country House & Spa in Cambridge and odd duck | wine & provisions in Kitchener both earned a spot on Toronto & Region’s 2026 Recommended Restaurants. Langdon Hall was previously featured as a recommended restaurant in 2024. According to the attraction’s website, it offers a “refined” dining room experience as well as a more casual setting at Wilks Bar.Meanwhile, odd duck also made the coveted list in 2025. The restaurant on Ontario Street says it works on a “no-tipping, people first hospitality model.” The Michelin Guide featured 65 recommended restaurants this year. When it comes to Michelin-Starred restaurants, most of them can be found in Toronto. However, Restaurant Pearl Morissette located in the Niagara Region’s community of Lincoln earned two stars.
