Former London Knight Sam O’Reilly came up big for the second time in less than a week, helping his new team beat his former club 5-2 in Kitchener Tuesday night. He recorded three points in the second period alone, including a shorthanded goal for the Rangers, which gave them a 4-2 lead. O’Reilly finished the game off with an empty-netter. O’Reilly was traded to Kitchener last month, along with defenseman Jared Woolley. He scored twice when the two teams clashed in London last Wednesday, including the overtime winner. Jesse Nurmi and William Nicholl contributed London’s goals on the night. The Knights are right back in action Wednesday night when they host the Guelph Storm at Canada Life Place.
