London has been ranked the fifth-best emerging tech market in North America in a new report from commercial real estate firm CBRE, formerly Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis. Only Huntsville, Ala., Halifax, Colorado Springs and Dayton, Ohio, ranked ahead of the Forest City in the report’s emerging tech market standings. The report says more than 19,000 people work in London’s technology sector, which has grown by just over 16 per cent over the past three years. CBRE said smaller markets such as London can offer companies opportunities to expand their geographic footprint, improve cost efficiencies and create new business opportunities.
