Laval police have arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault and are asking anyone who may have been victimized by him to come forward. According to the Laval Police Service (SPL), the known alleged victim met the suspect on the evening of April 25 at a bar in Laval. He allegedly offered her alcohol and a drug before taking her to his home, where he sexually assaulted her. Nicu Eduard Cristea faces charges of administering a noxious substance, unlawful confinement and sexual assault. He remains in custody and is scheduled to return to court on May 22. Investigators believe Cristea may have other victims and are urging anyone with information to contact them.
