A man called the Canadian Coast Guard late Wednesday night to help retrieve his sea-doo, which had stalled in the middle of the water. Montreal police (SPVM) says the man was riding his sea-doo at 11:30 p.m. off the Island of Île Bizard when the watercraft stopped working. “He swam back to shore and knocked at the door of someone to ask for help,” said Jean-Pierre Brabant, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “From there, he took a taxi and went back to the shore for his sea-doo.” He notes that the SPVM and the Canadian Coast Guard were called to facilitate the retrieval. The man was examined for possible injuries before being sent on his way.
