An 84-year-old man is dead after a possible electrocution in Longueuil’s Greenfield Park neighbourhood. Longueuil police (SPAL) says a 911 call came in at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday reporting a man lying on the ground outside a church on Springfield Street. Officers say the man may have been electrocuted. He was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he later died. A crime scene was set up, and SPAL investigators were called in to determine what happened. An investigation has also been launched by the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST).
