A motorcyclist is in the hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle pile-up Friday night in Montreal’s Parc-Extension neighbourhood. Montreal police (SPVM) say that 911 calls around 8:20 p.m. reported an accident on Acadie Boulevard and Saint-Roch Street. Police say that a sedan travelling south on Acadie turned onto Saint-Roch and hit the motorcycle, which was coming from the opposite direction. The sedan then reportedly struck a second vehicle. Paramedics took the 29-year-old motorcyclist to the hospital with “significant lower-body injuries,” but police added that his life is not in danger. The two other drivers involved in the crash, men aged 66 and 29, were not injured. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and examining the scene to determine the causes and circumstances that led to the crash.
