A command post is being set up on Tuesday to help find a missing 72-year-old woman who was last seen on Oct. 24. It is set to operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the intersection of Saint-Michel Boulevard and Monselet Street. This comes after Leonne Aneus reportedly left her home in the Montreal North borough on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. “She primarily gets around on foot or by bus,” Montreal police (SPVM) said. “She may be in parks or green spaces. Ms. Aneus may be disoriented, so investigators have reason to fear for her safety.” She is described as a Black woman, 1.63 m (5′4″) tall and 55 kg (121 lbs) in weight. She has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, Aneus was wearing a dark grey long-sleeved sweater and leopard-print pants. She was reportedly not wearing any shoes. Anyone with information is encouraged to report it by calling 911 or contacting a local police station.
