Temiskaming Ontario Provincial Police say a 45-year old woman faces impaired driving charges after officers responded to a traffic complaint July 9. Police received a report of a possible impaired driver leaving a sporting event and located the suspect vehicle travelling on Armstrong Street North before conducting a traffic stop, police said in a news release Thursday. “The police investigation led to the driver’s arrest. The driver was transported to the Temiskaming OPP Detachment, where further breath testing was conducted,” police said. The woman was charged with impaired driving and a blood alcohol level of over 80 in addition to losing her licence and having the vehicle impounded for 7 days
