A driver visiting Ontario from another country will have a stunt driving charge to remember their visit to eastern Ontario, according to police. Ontario Provincial Police say an officer observed a vehicle travelling 150 km/h on Highway 401 in South Dundas Township last week. The speed limit on Highway 401 in the area is 110 km/h. The motorist, who was driving a rental car vehicle, received a charge of stunt driving, which includes a 30-day licence suspension in Ontario. The rental vehicle was also impounded for 14 days. “Slow down. Excessive speed puts everyone on our roads at risk,” the OPP said. Police did not say which country the driver was visiting Ontario from.
