Police in the Outaouais region say several people were injured in a head-on collision in La Pêche, Que. on Wednesday evening. According to a news release from police, the incident happened on the community’s Route Principale Est at 6:39 p.m. Police say one vehicle had three occupants and the other had four. Multiple people sustained various injuries, including shock, lacerations, a fracture and pain caused from wearing a seatbelt during the crash. Police did not say how many of the occupants were injured. Police say alcohol and speed were not factors in the collision. The road has been closed in both directions.
