Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in identifying three suspects involved in an assault in the ByWard Market last month. Police said Monday the alleged incident happened on July 11 in the area of York Street and ByWard Market Square. The assault left one victim with a broken arm. Police released photos of the three suspects allegedly involved. “Investigators believe Subject 1 was involved in the assault, while Subjects 2 and 3 may have information relevant to the investigation,” police said in a news release. Subject 1 is described as a white woman with long, dark brown hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black sleeveless dress and carrying a pink purse. Subject 2 is described as a woman with tan or olive skin with long, dark hair. She was wearing a red dress with high heels. Subject 3 is described as a white man with brown hair and brown facial hair, including a moustache and facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white shoes and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
