Crews respond to crash between SUV and farm equipment

Melville and Ituna fire crews responded to a collision on Saturday night between an SUV and farm equipment.

The incident, which was responded to around 7:18 p.m., resulted in unspecified injuries, according to a social media post from Melville Fire and Rescue.

“Crews contained the scene and did traffic control until the vehicles were safely removed from the scene,” the post read.

“At this time of year, it is especially important to be looking for moving farm equipment on roadways as harvest is well underway.”
