In support of TeleMiracle 2027, Queen City Kinsmen and Pure Country came together for the inaugural Glow Pitch tournament. The tournament consists of 15 teams, playing on two diamonds. As president of the Regina Queen City Kinsmen, Craig McGillivray brought forward the idea two years ago, drawing inspiration from “Plastic Bat & Ball” in Martensville, which has run for over 25 years. “Whatever we end up with at the end of the day is more money than we had in the bank,” he said. “If we raise $2 or $10,000, there’s always a goal you want in around that five to 10 grand range. We’ll see where we end up at the end of the week.” Hosted at the Highland Curling Club, the tournament runs from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
