Two Ontario residents arrested in Regina last week are facing charges for second degree murder. Lindsay Dolan, 37, and Dylan Zoobkoff, 33, were arrested at a Regina home last week following an interprovincial investigation The charges are related to a death investigation in which police found a dead person’s body inside a burning vehicle in Mississippi Mills, Ont. According to a Thursday news release, Ontario Provincial Police contacted Saskatchewan RCMP and Regina Police Service (RPS) with information that the two suspects were believed to be travelling towards Saskatchewan. With help from the Winnipeg Police Service, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Enforcement Response Team (SERT) located the suspects as they entered the province from Manitoba. On Wednesday, Sept. 30, RCMP’s SERT unit notified RPS the suspects were at a residence in the 3100 block of Copeland Road in Regina. RPS said they were safely taken into custody by various police units. As a result, the duo, originally from Arnprior, Ont., face charges for both second degree murder and indignity to a dead body. They have been transported to Ontario, and both made their first appearance on these charges in Ontario Court of Justice on Friday, Oct. 2.
