Little Debbie is no longer a “Debbie Downer” in Canada, as the beloved sweet treats brand has returned up north. McKee Foods Corporation confirmed to CTV News that Little Debbie snacks launched in time for the back-to-school season in Ontario, returning to Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore and Maxi. Shoppers can find Swiss Rolls, Honey Buns, Oatmeal Creme Pies and Cosmic Brownies back on the shelves across most stores in Canada. “While McKee Foods is excited to bring our products back to Canada and plans to reintroduce additional varieties, we do not yet have specific details on which products will launch or when,” Mike Gloekler of McKee Foods wrote in an email. Little Debbie snacks were stripped from stores across Canada in 2022, after their sole Canadian distributor chose to cut ties with McKee Foods.
