A man has been rushed to the hospital following a stabbing in Scarborough. Toronto police said they responded to a stabbing just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, in the area of Sewells and Neilson roads. Based on footage taken at the scene, it appears the incident occurred at an apartment complex. Police said the victim, a man in his 40s, has non-life-threatening injuries. Officers said a male suspect has been arrested and that there is no risk to the public’s safety. The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this time. It is also unclear if the victim and suspect were known to each other.
