A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a collision involving a vehicle in downtown Toronto on Sunday. The collision happened near Dundas Street East and Sherbourne Street. Toronto police say they were called to that area just after 3:40 p.m. for reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. The driver and their vehicle remained on scene, they said. Paramedics said they transported a male in his 50s to a local trauma centre in serious, but stable, condition. Currently, eastbound Dundas Street East is blocked at Sherbourne Street. Motorists should expect traffic delays in the area and consider alternate routes, police said.
