Grey Bruce Public Health (GBPH) has announced That Dr. Brittany Graham has been appointed to the permanent position of Grey-Bruce’s Medical Officer of Health (MOH) and Chief Executive Officer of GBPH. She has served as acting MOH since April 16, 2026. The Board of Health for GBPH formally approved the appointment during its regular meeting on Aug. 28 “Dr. Graham has done an excellent job as Acting Medical Officer of Health, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the permanent position,” said Board of Health Chair Kenneth Craig. The Board also announced that Dr. Eileen de Villa will serve as Acting Medical Officer of Health and CEO during Dr. Graham’s parental leave, which is set to begin on Sept. 8, 2026, and last until summer 2027. ““We are also fortunate that Dr. de Villa has agreed to serve as Acting Medical Officer of Health and CEO while Dr. Graham is on parental leave. Dr. de Villa is a respected leader in public health who knows this organization and community well,” added Craig. “With a newly reconstituted Board and dedicated staff, the organization’s future is bright, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success when I return from leave,” Dr. Graham says.
