Toronto police chief to announce results of retail theft enforcement initiative

Toronto police are providing an update at 10 a.m. on the results of an ongoing retail theft enforcement initiative.

Toronto police will be announcing details of what they describe as a “major” ongoing enforcement initiative involving retail crime.

Supt. Ron Taverner and Police Chief Myron Demkiw will be discussing the results of the initiative at a news conference later this morning.

The event is set to take place at Toronto police headquarters at 10 a.m.
