A hold-and-secure at three Hamilton schools following a double shooting on Friday afternoon has been lifted. Hamilton police say the shooting occurred in the area of Cochrane and Lawrence roads. When officers arrived, two victims were located suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, police say. One suspect has been arrested, police say, and another remains at large. No description has been released. Rosedale Elementary School, Viscount Montgomery Elementary School and St. Eugene Catholic Elementary School were in hold-and-secure as a result of the shooting. The circumstances that led to the shooting are under investigation.
