A pedestrian who was struck by a TransLink bus in Surrey last month has since died, police confirmed. The man in his 60s was critically injured after he was hit the night of July 11 at the intersection of 128 Street and 96 Avenue, according to the Surrey Police Service. Paramedics found the pedestrian lying on the road and he was receiving treatment when police arrived, according to a July 12 statement. Officers located the bus and its driver at the scene. Authorities announced his death Wednesday but said there were no updates on the investigation into what caused the crash.
