Caesars Windsor has announced a hyprov show coming to the casino in January. Hyprov is improv under hypnosis. Improv legend Colin Mochrie and world-renowned hypnotist Asad Mecci will perform it live from the Colosseum stage on Friday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. Audience volunteers take the stage, and within minutes are guided by Asad Mecci into a state of fearless creativity. The most receptive “Hyprovisors” then join Colin Mochrie to perform a completely improvised comedy show, while hypnotized. Mochrie, a prolific Canadian and Scottish-born improviser, gained fame as a regular on the British TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? after successfully auditioning. He continued his success on the US version, appearing in every episode and the current revival on the CW Network. He has toured with fellow “Whoser” Brad Sherwood for 20 years, co-created Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis with Mecci, and recently wrote his first collection of short stories, Not Quite the Classics. Mochrie also won Last One Laughing on Amazon Prime in 2021. Mecci’s comedy hypnosis performances have captivated audiences worldwide. Over his 20+ year career on stage, he has performed in front of millions of people both live and through the media.
