Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling lands coast-to-coast television deal with TSN

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling has signed a TV deal with TSN, allowing Canadians across the country to tune in.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling made a main-event calibre announcement during its weekend stop at St. Clair College, revealing a new national television deal with TSN.

“To be coast to coast on a national network is huge,” said MLP owner and Windsor native Scott D’Amore. “To be part of bringing it back to Canadian fans is pretty humbling.”

The announcement was made during Friday’s Global Wars event, with the buzz carrying into Saturday’s Uprising.

MLP Mayhem will debut on TSN in July and is expected to help the company expand its footprint in Canada. More details are expected to follow.

D’Amore said no one on the roster knew about the deal, adding that the announcement was a special moment for everyone involved.

“I think it changes the landscape. It’s so hard for Canadians to get opportunities in wrestling, opportunities in entertainment, and this now gives us a platform so we can really highlight how great Canadian talent is and how we’re just as good as the very best from around the world.”

The TSN deal marks a significant step for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, giving the company consistent coast-to-coast exposure as it continues to grow in Canada and beyond.
