The City of Windsor is inviting local musicians to apply for its 2026 Live at The Square concert series, a free weekly event set to return downtown this fall, with support from Enbridge Fueling Futures. The outdoor music series will be held at City Hall Square on Thursday evenings from Sept. 10 through Oct. 1, featuring performances from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each week. City officials say the series is designed to showcase local talent while bringing music and activity to the downtown core. Applications are now open for performers interested in taking part in the concert lineup. To be eligible, solo artists must be based in Windsor-Essex, while duos must include at least one local musician. Groups must consist of at least 50 per cent local performers. All performances must be suitable for audiences of all ages. The city says applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis as organizers work to build a diverse lineup.
