Southern Manitoba residents are being warned about some upcoming power outages in the area. In a post on social media, Manitoba Hydro said a “large structure” is being transported from Winkler to Arden starting on Wednesday. For this to be done safely, some power outages are required. The Crown corporation explained that the structure will be moved from Winkler to Holland on Wednesday, with the transport mainly focused on Highways 3 and 34. The move will then continue from Holland to Arden on Thursday, with the main route along Highways 34 and 16. Hydro noted that customers along the route may experience brief outages. However, the exact timing depends on the progress of the move. CTV News has reached out to Hydro for more information.
