Some start times are changing for a dozen Winnipeg Jets regular season home games this year due to the elimination of the biannual time change. The Manitoba government announced on Thursday the province would make daylight saving time permanent after reviewing public feedback and preferences. “We heard from Manitobans loud and clear – no more changing the clocks in Manitoba,” Premier Wab Kinew said on Thursday. In response to the shift, the Jets and the NHL have pushed back the start times for 12 home games by one hour. The games happen between Nov. 21 and March 13. The 12 games are: The NHL regular season gets underway on Sept. 29 and the Jets open up their season at home on Oct. 2 against the Boston Bruins.
