A Tuesday morning collision in south Barrie has forced emergency services to shut down Mapleview Drive. Simcoe County paramedics were unable to offer details but confirmed to CTV News that passengers were transported from the scene of the two-vehicle collision. All westbound lanes on Mapleview Drive, west of Huronia Road, are closed following the collision, Barrie Fire and Emergency Services say. According to Barrie police, the collision happened sometime around 11 a.m. At this time there is no indicator of how long roads will remain closed.
