York Regional Police (YRP) say a clean up is underway after an eight vehicles has shut down traffic in parts of Georgiana. The collision happened just before 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, in the area of Morton Avenue and Woodbine Avenue. Police say one lane of northbound and one lane of southbound traffic is now open, but clean up and repair work on a damaged light post continue. YRP confirmed to CTV News no injuries were reported as a result of a the collision, though one person was taken to hospital as a precaution. Police say all vehicles involved were still in “drivable” condition, as the damages to them were minor. Police are asking anyone with information to reach out to them.
