Monday was pretty perfect in Calgary. Temperatures were where they should be for July and the day brought lots of sunshine. Tuesday will be sunny too, but hotter. Expect a high of 27 C in Calgary, with a little wind kicking in again in the afternoon. If you’re headed to Stampede, remember, it will feel hotter than 27 C with all the people and the pavement on Stampede grounds, so stay hydrated and take breaks from the sun. There are lots of indoor spots to enjoy on the grounds. Wednesday and Thursday come with a small chance of an isolated shower and thunderstorm risk in the afternoon. It looks like it will more stable heading into the weekend, with hot weather still in the forecast. Here is a photo taken by Tara Crape on Sunday at Elbow Springs Golf Club.
